Day 5 : Cinco

So, here we are again.

I can only imagine the real reason you’re here. I find it hard to believe that it’s because you want to put your hand in my box of wallpapers.

If that is the case, stick around to the end because I’ve got something very special for you.

Everyone always thinks it’s so easy to create a new wallpaper..

Well I’m here to tell you that it isn’t, in fact, it’s very difficult.

If only it were as simple as it sounds.

The first thing to be done when looking to create a new wallpaper is to focus your thoughts. What kind of image are you looking to capture?

Do you really want to look at this image as a wallpaper. Keep in mind, you’ll see this wallpaper almost everyday.

I personally like wallpapers that trigger either deep thought or emotion. I find these to be the best wallpapers because they leave you wondering or wanting more.

Now for those of you anxiously waiting for the new wallpaper image, check this out..

Honda CBR 600RR - Burke Lake, Virginia

This here is a wallpaper of a Honda CBR 600 RR street bike. If you’re a bike fanatic like I am, this picture should make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The reason I feel this image is wallpaper worthy is because of this..

Look in the distance, as you notice the trees look quite plush. Nothing makes me happier than a tree that’s healthy and green. I haven’t always felt this way about mother nature.

It wasn’t until I came into contact with a local tree service company who educated me a hell of a lot about trees. I was very surprised to learn all that I did, and because of it, I have a new found respect for trees and those who work with them. Who knew their is so much to know about them?

If you are also interested in learning more about the things that help us breathe, check out my friends over at Arlington Tree Service, they sure do know their stuff.

Day 2 of blogging, gonna drop another pic in the box

Today I want to share a new picture that I’ve been thinking a lot about.Snow Bird

This picture was taken right before the blizzard of 2016.

I was out on my back deck with my camera when I noticed this little guy show up.

I instantly noticed him when he landed on the deck railing.

I thought “oh wow, how perfect” and I took a few pictures of him. This was by far the best shot.

It wasn’t until after I took this picture and viewed it on my laptop that it struck me, I have no idea if this bird made it through the storm. I know they are resilient fellas but still, two plus feet of snow with winds of 30+ are quite devastating (thanks weather.com for the stats) to such small creatures.

If he’s still out there flying around today, I would ask him one thing,

“Where the hell did you go during that storm”

I know that is impossible and most people would think i’m crazy for sharing that but I will wonder about it until the day I expire.
